How do I set up my Smart QR medical profile?

Your Divoti Smart QR Medical Alert Bracelet links to a Medical ID on MedicalQR.tech. Anyone who scans the QR code with a phone camera can open your emergency information, and no app is needed. Your emergency contacts can be alerted by text and email.

Set up your Medical ID

  1. Go to MedicalQR.tech and choose Create your Medical ID. Sign up with your email or Google account.
  2. Fill in your medical profile: conditions, allergies, medications, blood type, doctors, insurance, and any directives.
  3. Add trusted contacts. For each person, choose whether they get text and/or email alerts, and what they can see: your Comprehensive profile, your Limited profile, or alerts only.
  4. Choose what goes in your Limited (emergency) profile. Everything is private until you turn it on with Limited Share, so switch on only the details a stranger or first responder needs, like blood type, critical conditions, and severe allergies.
  5. Test it. Scan your bracelet with your phone camera and check what appears.

What happens when someone scans it

  • Your emergency page opens in their phone's browser.
  • The scan time is recorded.
  • They're asked to share their location. This is optional, and everything still works if they say no.
  • Your trusted contacts get the text and email alerts you set up.
  • The scanner sees only the details you've approved.

Keep it up to date

You can change your details, contacts, and sharing settings at any time from your dashboard, with no need to re-engrave anything. You can also add MedicalQR.tech to your phone's home screen so it works like an app, and export your profile as a PDF or CSV.

Tip

Still engrave your most important information (name, main condition, and an emergency phone number) on the ID itself. A responder may not be able to scan if there's no phone signal.
