Your Smart QR medical profile lives on MedicalQR.tech, and you control who sees what.
Who can see my information?
- Someone who scans your QR code sees your Limited (emergency) profile: only the details you've chosen to share.
- Your trusted contacts see the level you assign each person: your Comprehensive profile (full details), your Limited profile, or no profile at all (alerts only).
- Private by default. Nothing goes into your Limited profile until you turn it on with Limited Share. Details like insurance or legal directives can stay private.
Can I hide some information?
Yes. Turn individual details on or off in Limited Share, and change any contact's access level at any time from your dashboard.
What about location?
When someone scans your QR code, their phone may ask them to share their location so your contacts know where help is needed. It's optional. If they decline, your contacts are still alerted and your emergency information is still shown.
Is my data sold or used for ads?
No. According to MedicalQR.tech's privacy policy, medical information isn't used for advertising or sold to data brokers.
How is my account protected?
Your account is protected by secure sign-in. Use a unique password, and protect any phone or computer that stays signed in.
Can I export or delete my profile?
Yes. You can export your information as a PDF or CSV, and request account deletion from your account settings.
